Red Industrial Pattern Mould Wall Hanging – TS-2 Slipper Top

A bold and tactile piece of industrial history, this original engineering pattern mould was used approximately 40 to  60 years ago in the production of mining machinery components.

Finished in its original red factory paint, the surface shows authentic wear, markings, and patina – subtle scratches, faded layout lines, and layers of use that speak to its time in a working engineering environment.

The design is defined by a distinct central indentation, creating depth and a sculptural focal point that sets this piece apart. Surrounding it are smaller raised details and faint construction markings that hint at the precision of its original function.

The bold handwritten “TS-2” gives the piece a strong graphic identity, while additional markings include “R-B” (written inverted) and partially legible references such as “B60-2-…”.

Etched into the wood is “Simco Slipper Top 2024/1”, offering a clear connection to its original engineering purpose and adding to its authenticity.

Crafted from solid wood with metal fittings and mounting points, it retains the rugged integrity of its industrial past.

This piece can be mounted on a wall using a sturdy bolt, or styled leaning against a wall for a bold, curated look.
