Description
A bold and visually striking industrial artefact, this original SIMCO engineering pattern mould features a segmented raised wheel design, distinguished by its strong geometry and contrasting central detail.
The wheel form is divided into sections, creating a sense of movement and structure, while the dark central core and adjacent black accent piece add depth and contrast against the worn blue-painted surface. This interplay of colour and form gives the piece a more graphic, almost mechanical presence.
Faint etched markings appear to reference SIMCO Engineering, along with subtle workshop identifiers, while a lightly handwritten “5G” marking sits near the base – another trace of its working life.
The aged blue paint is beautifully weathered, revealing layers of raw wood and wear patterns that speak to decades of use. Metal elements and mounting points remain intact, reinforcing its industrial authenticity.
Like the other two in the set, this piece is larger and heavier than the red series, making it a commanding presence on any wall.
