Silver Industrial Pattern Mould Wall Hanging – SIMCO Worm Wheel Housing 32446-4 (C/S)

Description

A striking departure from the classic red moulds, this original engineering pattern mould features a rare silver-toned finish and a more compact, square form – giving it a distinctly architectural presence.

Used in the casting of a worm wheel housing, this piece carries a strong mechanical identity, with a central cylindrical form and layered protrusions that create depth, shadow, and visual intrigue.

The surface reveals a rich blend of aged silver, exposed wood, and worn edges, where decades of use have softened the finish into a beautifully muted industrial palette. This makes it especially versatile for interiors that lean toward neutral tones, refined industrial, or contemporary design.

Handwritten along the side is: “Simco Eng Worm Wheel Hsg 32446-4 C/S O/N 37926” – a direct link to its engineering origin and functional past.

Its square format sets it apart from more traditional mould shapes, offering a cleaner, more structured aesthetic that works exceptionally well as a standalone feature or as part of a curated gallery wall.

Crafted from solid wood with original metal fittings, this is a one-of-a-kind piece, preserved in its raw, authentic state.
