Description
A bold, graphic piece of industrial history, this original engineering pattern mould was used approximately 40 to 60 years ago in the production of mining machinery components.
Finished in its original red factory paint, the surface is layered with authentic wear and patina—interrupted by a striking spray of bright white, adding contrast and a raw, expressive edge to the piece.
The design is anchored by a central raised form, but it’s the bold handwritten text: “H. Speed” and “Weight”, that gives this piece its strong visual identity. The oversized lettering creates an almost typographic artwork, blending industrial function with graphic impact.
Crafted from solid wood with metal fittings and mounting points, it retains the rugged authenticity of its working past.
This piece can be mounted on a wall using a sturdy bolt, or styled leaning against a wall for a bold, curated look.
A true one-of-a-kind statement piece, this is authentic industrial decor, graphic, expressive, and rich in history.
