The design features a grid of raised plate-like forms with central bolt details, connected by smaller linking elements. This gives the piece a strong mechanical rhythm and a balanced, architectural feel.
Handwritten markings include “Simco Knife/e BRG – Plate” and “3A”, while the etched factory text (though partially worn) still reflects its origin within the Simco Knife Edge series.
Crafted from solid wood with metal fittings and mounting points, it retains the rugged integrity of its industrial past.
This piece can be mounted on a wall using a sturdy bolt, or styled leaning against a wall for a bold, curated industrial look.
