A striking and substantial industrial artefact, this original SIMCO engineering pattern mould stands out both for its scale and its rare weathered blue finish.

At the centre, a bold protruding wheel form creates immediate visual impact – its radial structure drawing the eye inward while adding depth and dimension to the piece. The circular geometry, combined with the square outer frame, gives it a strong architectural presence that anchors any space.

Faint workshop markings remain visible, including what appears to be “R53” and partial ID references, alongside older, crossed-out numbering – subtle traces of its working life in a manufacturing environment. These layered markings add to the authenticity and narrative of the piece.

The aged blue paint, worn back in areas to reveal raw wood and undertones, creates a beautifully soft yet industrial patina – less harsh than the red series, but equally rich in character.

Notably larger and heavier than the red collection, this piece carries a physical presence that makes it ideal as a statement installation.
