It’s taken a few months, but we’ve cleaned up this collection of some of the smaller, old engineering pattern moulds and found a creative way to hang them.
They are all shapes and sizes, and in a bright fire-engine red, with black finishes. We estimate them to be between 40 and 70 years old! We salvaged these wood moulds, as well as hundreds of metal circlips, from an old engineering factory.
The circlips are screwed onto the pieces, helping each mould hang flat against the wall.
Next step is to hang them on a white wall to see the contrast and show them off more, don’t you think?
