💡 Top Interior Design Tips from Nicolene

Nicolene highlighted that she see trends today of using repurposing items (especially artisanal and custom made), and especially with warm tones and texture. During our chat, she also shared a few valuable tips for using industrial decor in a way that’s both stylish and functional:

  • industrial decor is often a conversation piece, so make it a focal point
  • corporates, especially engineering or mining companies, would value industrial style statement pieces
  • bring into your home office pieces that excite you, and that you enjoy having in your space
  • not all furniture is one size fits all.

Our conversation with Nicolene was incredibly practical for anyone wanting to explore or refine their use of industrial decor. Whether you’re redesigning your living room or setting up a home office, her advice is grounded in years of experience and a deep love for helping people feel truly at home in their spaces.
