Description
A bold and expressive piece of industrial history, this original engineering pattern mould was used approximately 40 to 60 years ago in the production of mining machinery components.
Finished in its original red factory paint, the surface carries authentic wear and patina, interrupted by a distinctive spray of bright white, adding contrast and a raw, layered character.
The design is centred around a raised rectangular form with an extended handle-like element, giving the piece a strong directional presence. Overlaid are bold handwritten markings including “C/W 88m13”, with smaller traces of “Simco Eng”, preserving its identity from the factory floor.
Faint layout lines and worn markings beneath the surface hint at the precision of its original use, now softened by time.
Crafted from solid wood with metal fittings and mounting points, it retains the rugged authenticity of its industrial origins.
This piece can be mounted on a wall using a sturdy bolt, or styled leaning against a wall for a bold, curated look.
A true one-of-a-kind statement piece, this is authentic industrial decor, textural, graphic, and rich in history.
