Crank Shark – sculpture

Tapered roller bearings out of a steering head from a KTM300, inspired this sculpture of a shark. The head is a crank pin of a single cylinder 450, and the rest of the sculpture is made from various bushers, spacers, a chain and sprocket.  The fins are from sheet metal off cuts. This clock was a commission request, for a big Suzuki fan.  Motorcycle parts, including YZ250 front and rear sprockets and chain, RMZ450 clutch plates, and various sized ball bearings and rollers, were used to make this clock. The clock hangs on the wall, with the top small sprocket resting on a nail.
